About the Book
The book deals with the military defeat of South Vietnam (1972-1975) after the Kissinger-Le Duc Tho “”peace agreement””. Soviet and Chinese, in keen competition with each other kept pumping up the North Vietnamese army, while the US Congress decreased its aid to the South, having lost all interest in supporting their ally. Shell Vietnam was importing 50% of all fuel supplies to the country.
